4-Card SLOTKER® – RULES (2 to 10 players)

4-Card SLOTKER® (2 to 10 Players) is played like 3-Card SLOTKER®, but gives players more ways to make a 3-of-a-kind hand.

HERE’S THE DEAL:

* The cards are shuffled.

* All players ante 1 chip to the pot.

* Players are then dealt four cards.

* Players then have the option to discard one card, to receive one replacement card from the dealer.

* In this game, players can use only three of their four cards to make a 3-of-a-kind hand.

* The player with the highest-ranking 3-of-a-kind hand, with three matching poker card values (Deuces up to Aces) or three matching slot-machine symbols (LEMONs up to BARs), or three-matching card suits (clubs, spades, diamonds or hearts) wins the pot, and a new round begins.

* If two or more players are tied with same 3-matching slot-machine symbols, the player with the highest-ranking 3-card poker hand, associated with their three-matching slot-machine symbols, wins the pot.

* If two or more players are tied with each player holding 3-matching card suits, the player with the highest-ranking 3-card poker hand, associated with their three-matching card suits, wins the pot.

* If no player has made any 3-of-a-kind hand, then all players contribute another chip to the pot, and a new round is dealt, with players competing for a progressively-increasing pot.

4-Card SLOTKER® – FYI:

Even if a player has made 3-of-a-kind in their first four cards, that player still has the option to discard one card, to receive a replacement card from the dealer, to try and make an even higher-ranking hand.

For example, if a player has been dealt: CHERRIES-4-of-Hearts, CHERRIES-4-of-Diamonds, CHERRIES-Ace-of=Spades and PLUM-3-of-Clubs, the player could discard the PLUM-3-of-Clubs, to try and make 3-of-a-kind with the 4s.

REMEMBER: Poker card values (Deuces up to Aces) outrank all slot-machine symbols and card suits. And slot-machine symbols outrank card suits. And all card suits are equal in value.

When two or more players are tied with the same three-matching slot-machine symbols, then the 3-card poker hand, associated with their 3-of-a-kind slot-machine symbols, is played to determine the winner.

When two or more players are tied with three-matching card suits, then the 3-card poker hand, associated with their 3-of-a-kind card suits is played to determine the winner.

Three-card poker hands, in SLOTKER® are ranked like standard poker hands, from lowest to highest: High Card, Pair, Straight, Flush, Straight Flush.

3-of-a-kind slot machine symbols are ranked, from lowest to highest: LEMONs, CHERRIES, ORANGEs, PLUMS, BELLs, and BARs. The ranks of slot-machine symbols are printed on the back of the card tuck box, and for quick and easy reference, each card displays the Rank and Quantity of the slot-machine symbol on each card.

FOR THE FASTEST ACTION AND MOST FUN, no reshuffle is required after each round of hands, as long as there are enough cards remaining in the deck to deal each player four cards plus a replacement card. While this may eliminate some combinations that could be made, this may also add some advantage for the players who can remember certain cards that have been previously played.
